The Spokane Eye Clinic built a new Clinic and the top floor is the Surgery Center. We were able to have the surgery there rather than at the hospital. We Checked in today at 7:00 and it took forever for them to call us back. Finally they did and they took Jonathan's vital's.

It was fun I was able to go back into the OR room, I asked if I could watch the surgery but they said, NO. How rude, I would have loved to see what they did and how they did it. U-Tube was great but not as cool as being there would have been. I got to gown up and just be there for 5 minutes while they were putting him under. Then like clock work they ushered me out of the room. 
He did really well, Dr Ranson said he took a lot of skin out so as he grows his eye lid will not fall down. He is doing great, and he needs a lot of rest and over the next few days his eyes will become more and more swollen. We are so excited that is now over and the healing has begun.
